Macam-macam hal yang berlaku sepanjang tak update blog ni.

Experiment untuk 3km last time alhamdulillah berjaya dilaksanakan dan dapat result.  Sekarang nak kena buat untuk 5km pula.  Tengah tunggu kelulusan pihak management condo yang 'terpilih'.

Last two weeks, sibuk dengan conference dan siapkan lagi paper utk another conference.  By end of the week, sikecik kena demam campak.  Hmm.. last week, seminggulah tak boleh nak buat apa-apa.  'Lepak' kat rumah dengan sikecik tu.  Dah dua minggu tak ada output!

Sekarang dah cuti sekolah, dah plan nak balik kampung, tapi entahlah dengan kerja yang macam-macam ni.  Tunggulah, tapi kena balik jugak. Important wedding is coming soon...

Filed test

This week is scheduled for field test, 3km field test from engineering building to Kristal Height Condominium.  The plan is to start on Tuesday by setting up the equipment on a tripod in the engineering building.  But early Tuesday morning, I got a message from a collogue, A,  “Sorry, I cannot come to campus today”. Hmmm… what to do, it is not possible for us (sisters) to bring down the link head.  The plans need to be postponing to Wednesday.

Wednesday plan is to setup the equipment in engineering in the morning, and then bring the other set to Kristal Height, if time permitted we’ll test it, if not the test will be done the next day.  I already ask one of the brothers in optical class to help (name J).  It was scheduled to start at 10 am.  We wait and wait, until 10.30am, we are waiting for A to come since he has some of the equipment that he is supposed to buy during the weekend.  Around 10.30 I call him, he said he’s coming.  Then call him again around 11.00 he said he in the shop buying all the required stuffs!! What!!! Isn’t  it supposed to be purchased during the weekend?? Grrrrrr.,…. L .  Wait again, then get a call around 1.00pm  asking me to bring the laptop and tripod, he said they already bring down the link head.  I said “sorry, I’m not going to bring it, I need to have my lunch if not I’m going to get a very bad headache”.  We have another meeting at 2.30pm with NI programmer.   So, the only thing that we can so is to setup the equipment after the meeting and setup the other site tomorrow morning.  Again we set to start it at 10.00am.

Thursday come, I was in the lab since 8.30am.  Doing some of my works before we start the test.  A come around 10.30am.  So I told him, please take and setup the equipment in Kristal Height, all sisters will be at engineering site. Call me when they are ready.  From 10.30  till 1, no news from them.  Around 1.20 I get a message from J “We are ready”. I told him to rest for a while since we need to pray etc.  We’ll start the test at 2pm.  Around 2.01 I get a call from A, “I do not bring the power cable for the link head, I cannot go and pick it up, send someone to bring it  here!”  It just make my blood pressure going UP! Whatttt!!!! You said you are ready, now you said you don’t have the main power cable and want us to bring it there!!! When in the world are we going to start the test!  We said in that case we test it tomorrow, A said he is not coming tomorrow…grrrr…. You cause all this delay then just leave it like that!!  Our supervisor said, no we need to do the test today, and he said he will send the cable to A.  Until 5.15pm we are still on the rooftop of engineering doing the test.  This site we received the signal, but the other site no signal at all. Maybe because I put the cable wrongly between the management port and the data port…hmm… ok.  So, we’ll continue the test tomorrow.  A said we might need to connect the media converter at the other side also, aren’t we have been doing the loopback all this while, why do we need to connect media converter both side?  Don’t want to argue, furthermore he ask me to go to Kristal Height and close the small window on the link head!  Why done you bring the key with you in the first place???!!! 

Will continue the test today.. we’ll see what kind of result we will get…  I’m off to Johor after Jumaah prayer…
